Please take note of the following guidelines and rules.

1) Respect. Please show respect to community members. Nobody likes to be rundown for their ideas and opinions, no matter how different they are from yours.

2) Please don't curse. We're of the opinion that the use of profanity makes the user sound less than intelligent. Please find alternate words to use, as long as you're using them in congruence with rule 1.

3) Don't argue with authority. If you're asked to cease certain behaviors, please do so. We don't want to to ban anyone, but aren't above doing so.

4) We don't want to have to enforce rules, or make new ones to reign in bad behavior. Please, please, please respect the rules.

5) Have fun! The Lord of the Rings shifted the paradigm of fantasy literature, have fun with what the Professor left for us.
